Coinvalo is an independent website, and soon an iPhone app, for anyone who wants to know what their coins are worth. It covers the euro coins of every euro country, starting with the 2 euro commemoratives, and the national coins of EU countries outside the euro.

Who makes it

Coinvalo is made by Cesare D’Adamo, an independent developer.

Where the data comes from

Facts about each coin, such as its design, mintage and issue date, come from the European Central Bank, the Official Journal of the European Union and the central banks and mints that issue the coins. Values come from real completed sales, such as auction results and sold listings, each shown with its date and source. Values are market estimates, not appraisals.

How we write our guides

Our guides are drafted with the help of AI from primary sources, and every number on a page shows its date and source. Automated checks review each page before it goes live. We never invent prices, reviews or quotes, and we don’t give investment advice.
